Robert Andrew Ainsworth, Jr. (May 10, 1910 – December 22, 1981) was a United States federal judge.
==Biography==
Ainsworth was born in Gulfport, Mississippi. He earned a Bachelor of Laws from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law in 1932. He was in private practice in New Orleans, Louisiana from 1932-61. He was a Lieutenant in the United States Navy during World War II, in 1944. He was a member of the Louisiana State Senate from 1952-61, serving as President pro tem from 1952-56 and from 1960-61.
